I'm having a screening colonoscopy today and took some time off last week, so no formal post today. I had polyps found on my first colonoscopy years ago, and I urge everyone over 45 to get colon cancer screening! Here’s a post from March that shows how screening has decreased death rate from colorectal cancer.
Employer Coverage returns tomorrow (Friday) with a post on the relationship of income to high value care. Three quick notes
I was quoted in the New York Times today (on line yesterday) in an article on the AI arms race between providers and insurance companies.
Two WTW colleagues, Cody Midlam and Kristin McKee, published an article "Amid a changing landscape for GLP-1 drugs, 8 employer considerations" in Human Resources Executive today.
In early August, I'll be riding the Pan Mass Challenge, a 184 mile two-day cycling trip from Sturbridge in central Massachusetts to the tip of Provincetown on Cape Cod. This is my 27th consecutive year cycling in this event. I ride to raise funds for the Center for Global Cancer Medicine, a collaboration of Dana Farber Cancer Center and Partners in Health, which delivers cancer care and does research on care delivery in Rwanda and Haiti. Here's a link to my PMC page if you’d like to learn more about my ride or sponsor me.
Thanks!
